ROAD MAINTENANCE WORK  UPDATE (ILESA WEST LGA)

Picture 1-4: 10 10 junction, Ilesa which has been a death trap to motorbike riders and pedestrians for years.

The caretaker chairman of Ilesa west local government Hon Olusegun Olabode pupularly know as Shigo papa mobilised workers to the  side of retain pave wall at Ayeni 10-10 junction to completed the job yesterday, to allow free flow of water as we approach the begining of the rain season. 

It is on record that many people have complain about the big pot hole in the junction since tenure of the last admnistration which have lead to accident among those that ply the route especially okada riders that result into death or injuries. 

The repaired of the junction is overdue to  prevent more damage on the road and the building beside it,at the same time to allow pedestrians to move freely by that side.

 The repaired will allow free flow or movement of vehicles,bikes and other means of transportation in the area.

When speaking with reporters,after inspected  completed project,the caretaker chairman promise to do everything at his disposal to bring more development to  the local government to allow  his people to enjoy the dividend of democracy 

Kudo must be given Hon Olusegun Olabode for the urgent step to safe life and property.
