Osun State APC Chairman Issues Scholarship Letters To 1000 Benefitting Students

The Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Osun state, Sooko Lawal Tajudeen has issued scholarship letters to over 1,000 students of tertiary institutions who are beneficiaries of the “Renewed Hope Scholarship Scheme”.

It is being piloted by the APC Professionals Council in collaboration with National Image Scholarship, a consortium for Educational Support Scheme is aimed at engaging young people interested in advancing their educational pursuit but challenged by finances.

Speaking on Thursday during the issuance of the letters in Osogbo the state capital, he said the party is committed to advancing the welfare of young people through the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu, urging the people of Osun to support the APC government.

According to him, the party will soon return to power in the state and urged the benefitting students to make use of the opportunity to build a brighter future for themselves.

In his remarks, the National Director General of APC Professionals Council, Amb. Seyi Bamigbade reiterated the readiness of the council to continue offering support to young Nigerians to achieve their full potentials.

According to him, the series of policies being initiated by the Tinubu-led government, including the students loan which will commence operation in January are indications that he means well for the young people.

Amb. Bamigbade said education plays a pivotal role in raising the frontiers of national development and keeping the young population engaged as not to engage in social vices that will be inimical to their future.

Those present during the presentation of the letters include, Directorate of Ojuku Polytechnic Kwara State led by the Polytechnic Proprietor Dr Rasaq Oyewale, accompanied by the Rector of the Institution, Mr Salahudeen Oyewale among others.
