Jubilation As Oyetola Storms Ilesa!

The ancient town of Ilesa wore a new look yesterday when the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola paid special visits to prominent leaders of Ilesa and stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress in the town.

The first point of call for the ex-Governor was the home of Chief Kunle Odeyemi, the Zonal Leader of APC in Ijesa South Federal Constituency. He followed it up with a call to Chief Akin Akinola's quarters in Ijamo, where the host, the Sawe of Ilesa, on behalf of the people of Ijesaland thanked Oyetola for establishing a worthy university, University of Ilesa, for the people of the town two years ago.

The ex-Governor equally visited the former speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Timothy Owoeye, to celebrate this year's Easter celebration with him and his numerous supporters. 

The Minister finally proceeded to Ayeni Foundation Hall, Venue of the 63rd birthday celebration of the former member representing Ilesa East/Ilesa West/Atakumosa East/Atakumosa West in the House of Representatives, Hon. Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni.
