Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, will Thursday take the IleriOluwa Free Fuel Scheme to the ancient town of Ede.
The scheme, part of the APC Chieftain's effort to ameliorate the economic hardship faced by Okada and Keke riders in the state, is designed to cover no fewer than 15,000 beneficiaries by end of the year.
Since the programme kicked off in September, over 3000 beneficiaries , drawn from Gbongan, Ode-omu and Orile-owu in Ayedaade Local Government, Ikire in Irewole Local Government and Iwo in Iwo Local Government areas, have benefitted.
