All roads lead to Celestial church of Christ, Covenant Cathedral, Isua Town, Ilesa Osun state as Honourable Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni (FMHR) was ordained as Superior Most Senior Evangelist on Sunday 3rd of November, 2024

Honourable Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni who was widely known as a politician and a philanthropist was also showcased at the investituture ceremony as a faithful christian.
Personalities from all walks of life ; traditional rulers, politicians and lovers of the former lawmaker graced the occasion. Some of the personalities who attended the ceremony are: Hon. Israel Ajibola Famurewa(FMHR), Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye ( Former speaker, Osun state House of Assembly) Hon.Prince Adebayo Adeleke (aka Banik), Chief Oluawo Moshadek,  Hon. Benjamin Adereti, Hon.Adegboyega Ajeleti, Hon.Elder Akinwumi Oni, Hon.Sunday Ademola Philips, Hon.Olori Olusola Agbadaoje.
The height of the event was when Hon. Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni (FMHR) was to be decorated and anointed to function in his new religious position by V/Sup.Evang.Oladipupo Dudubo and  assisted by V.S Evang.L O Oshinkayode, the shepherd in charge of CCC Covenant Cathedral Isua Town Ilesa. In his speech before the decoration  described Hon. Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni as a man who love God and humanity. 
He further said, his contributions to the works of God and zealousness for the things of God has earned him this spiritual responsibility. In his words " the position of Superior Most Senior Evangelist in Celestial church of Christ is not for jamboree or mere decorations but a call to service of God, obeying his commandments and being a touch to light up the path of many others in Christendom and beyond.
Hon.Prince Adebayo Adeleke (aka Banik) who represented the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency,  Adegboyega Oyetola aptly delivered the  congratulatory message sent to  Hon. Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni by the Minister. He equally donated a sum of One million Naira on behalf of the Minister in buying a church Bus.
Hon.Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni who gave a speech after the ordination appreciates everyone who attended the occasion and those who couldn't come in person. He appreciates the Hon Minister, Marine and Blue Economy, H/ E Adegboyega Oyetola for his unflinching support and love. He thanked all the political leaders present, the party members and all lovers who out of their tight Sunday's schedule make out time to celebrate with him. He equally appreciates the Shepherd Of CCC Covenant Cathedral Isua Town, V/S Oshinkayode, whom God used to facilitate the ordination.
In his words " I have always knew that my destiny is to serve God and humanity, this ordination was not what I planned at all but the General Overseer, Papa Oshoffa mandated it when I met with him few months ago. So, I could say it was spiritually prophesied and not the doing of any man"
Attendees were treated to music and entertainment at the premises of the church after the investiture ceremony.
