YULETIDE : How Omowaiye doles out food items to over 1000 households in Osun...Presents Xmas gifts to 3,500 children...Gifts 500 chicken, hundreds bags of rice, 30 goats, 5 cows, others

As part of efforts to meet the basic needs of many residents of Osun during the yuletide period, the Executive Director, Project Implementation, Federal Housing Authority, Engr Oluremi Omowaiye has doled out food items and educational materials to thousands of Osun residents in celebration of Christmas and New Year.
The beneficiaries, ranging from children, politicians, stakeholders and vulnerable received different gifts for celebration.

Close to 4000 children drawn from different locations in the state, including Osogbo, Ilesa and Ifewara received Christmas gifts through the annual programme tagged Ilerioluwa Xmas Santa Show while cash, hundreds bags of rice, 500 chickens, 30 goats, 30 turkeys and 5 cows were distributed to different clusters of the residents.

Speaking at one of the locations, Omowaiye noted that over 2000 children received the items in Ijesaland while close to 2000 children also benefitted tremendously from the gesture in the state capital. 

He described the gesture as a consistent move to further impact in people's lives by putting smile to their faces most significantly during festive periods.

He said: "We are used to this. This is what I have been doing in the last few years. The records are there. The motive is to further identify with our people and meet their basic needs during festive periods."

"Aside those children that we gave different gift items, I have reached out to over a thousand households. I have  distributed chickens close to 500, hundreds bags of rice, indomie packs, 5 cows, 30 goats, 30 turkeys among others," Omowaiye stated.
