The Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, HE Adegboyega Oyetola CON, recently welcomed the Secretary General of the D-8 Organization, H.E. Amb. Isiaka Abdulqadir Imam, for a productive courtesy visit to the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy. This visit highlights the Ministry's efforts to strengthen international partnerships and collaborations.
As the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola has been working tirelessly to promote the responsible management and utilization of marine resources in Nigeria. His vision for the Ministry includes creating a sustainable pathway for economic growth in fisheries, aquaculture, renewable energy, tourism, and seabed mining, while ensuring environmental sustainability.
Oyetola's experience as a former Governor of Osun State and his background in the private sector have equipped him with the necessary skills to drive the growth of Nigeria's blue economy.
