During today’s 15th of may plenary session at the House of Representatives, three members of the opposition formally announced their defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The defecting lawmakers are:

Hon. Oluwole Oke-BOO representing Osun State, who moved from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC.

Hon. Kabiru Hassan Rumrum, a representative from Kano State, who defected from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to the APC.

Hon. Sani Abdullahi, also representing Kano State, who likewise left the NNPP to join the APC.

Their decision marks a significant political shift in the lower chamber, potentially impacting the balance of power and legislative dynamics within the House.
