𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗔 𝗪𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗢 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗣𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗠𝗢𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗭𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 2026

In a major political development ahead of the 2026 Osun State gubernatorial elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ilesa West Local Government has formally inaugurated the local structures of the Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) Movement.

The event, held on Monday, July 1, 2025, at the Foundation Hotel, Ilesa, witnessed a large turnout of party stakeholders, grassroots mobilizers, and political supporters committed to the vision and candidacy of AMBO.
As part of the strategic campaign framework, the following operational arms of the AMBO Movement were officially unveiled:

AMBO Grassroots Mobilizers

Ilesa West AMBO Media Team

Ilesa West AMBO Youth Assembly

Ilesa West AMBO Women Assembly

The meeting was declared open by Hon. Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni, who welcomed attendees and emphasized the importance of early mobilization and unified political strategy. He urged members of the APC in Ilesa West to remain committed to the party’s goals and to rally behind the AMBO Movement, which he described as a transformational agenda for the future of Osun State.
Hon. Ayeni further outlined the specific roles of each inaugurated structure, emphasizing that effective grassroots engagement, media visibility, youth inclusion, and women participation would be key to ensuring victory at the polls in 2026.
In his address, Hon. Onigbogi expressed confidence in the party’s strength and position across the state. He encouraged members to remain optimistic and steadfast.

Hon. Risi also spoke at the gathering, commending the turnout and reaffirming support for AMBO’s vision. He encouraged party members to be proactive and remain focused as the campaign season approaches.
Adding to the voices of encouragement, Hon. Olabode Segun addressed the attendees, urging them to place their faith in the AMBO Movement. He emphasized the importance of loyalty, discipline, and consistent mobilization at the grassroots level.

The Ilesa West APC reaffirmed its dedication to grassroots mobilization, strategic coordination, and party loyalty in the journey toward reclaiming Osun State.
