𝗢𝘀𝘂𝗻 2026: 𝗢𝘆𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗷𝗶'𝘀 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝗻 -𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗢 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 ...𝗜𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗲
The women wing of the campaign team of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly called AMBO, has declared unflinching support and readiness to mobilize massively for the emergence of the group's preferred aspirant.
The Women Assembly declared that Oyebamiji's emergence in the party primary and main governorship election remains non-negotiable.
This is even as they inaugurated AMBO State Working Committee for grassroots mobilisations across the state.
Inaugurating members of the Committee drawn across the 30 Local Government Areas including Ife-East Area Office, Modakeke at Ilerioluwa Campaign Office, Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo, the State Coordinator, AMBO Women Assembly, Hon. Folake Olaniyan expressed delight in the composition and quality of members of the Committee, who she described as "tested and trusted foot soldiers."
She said the women in the progressive party in the state are determined to mobilize passionately for the emergence of Oyebamiji in the next governorship election.
While encouraging members of the newly-inaugurated Committee to buckle down in their individual and collective mobilization strategies, Olaniyan noted that "your selection as members of this committee is strategic and such your approach to issues on the emergence of our preferred aspirant - Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji must be strategic and pragmatic."
"We should do all within our power to ensure the victory of AMBO, and we are confident that by his antecedents in both private and public sectors, victory is ours. We have a sellable and marketable product that Osun needs at the moment, and with God on our side, we shall triumph," she added.
Earlier, the Chairman AMBO Movement and immediate past Speaker, Osun House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Timothy Owoeye urged members of the committee to always prioritize the task before them in all they do to ensure all-around victory for AMBO.
In their separate remarks, former House of Representatives member, Hon. Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni, former Osun State Assembly legislator, Hon. Abiodun Awolola, former Osogbo South LCDA Chairman, Hon. Jimoh Bolanle and Ambassador Lawal Olubunmi congratulated members of the Committee just as they implore them to work rigorously for the emergence of Oyebamiji come 2026.
The event was attended by former Osogbo State Constituency Lawmaker, Hon. Taofeek Badamosi Abolubode, Hon. Muraina Koyejo, Hon. Israel Aloba, Hon. George Durosinmi, Hon. Oyedele Balkis Temilola, Hon. Olusegun Adekanbi, Hon. Abdul-Waheed Hammed, Hon. Aremu Sadia Folasade, Hon. Ramota Omolara, Alhaja Risikat Adebukola, Coordinator, AMBO Babes, Hon. Aminat Atobatele, among others.
