HON.LAWRENCE BABATUNDE AYENI (FMHR)CALLS FOR UNITY, FOCUS, AND RESPONSIBLE ENGAGEMENT
In recent times, I have observed with concern the rising tide of personal attacks and needless provocations aimed at drawing me into unproductive political quarrels. My attention has been drawn to many posts by some party members and oppostion.
Let me state clearly: I, Honourable Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni, have never engaged—and will never engage—in politics of bitterness, character defamation, or divisiveness.
My political philosophy is grounded in respect, service, and collective progress. I believe leadership is measured not by how one responds to provocation, but by the ability to remain calm, focused, and principled — qualities long exemplified by leaders such as His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
I hold no grudges toward any aspirant, leader, or supporter within our great party. My silence in the face of recent attacks is not weakness, but discipline. We must not lose focus. At a time when we should be rallying together against the real political threats from PDP, ADC and others, it is unfortunate that some choose to sow internal discord instead.
The people expect leadership — not petty drama. They want solutions to many other pressing issues. That is where our energy should go.
To those who target me — feel free. I will not be distracted. My focus remains on building, not tearing down. History will favour those who put the people first.
To those who see me as a threat — let us talk, not quarrel. Let us build, not divide. I see no enemies among us, only fellow constituents with differing views.
Let us rise above division. The work ahead is greater than the noise behind.
I appreciate all faithful party men who wants to respond on my behalf, I beseech you, let's drop it. Our energy should be channeled towards our common enemies: the opposition.
Thank you all and God bless you
HON.LAWRENCE BABATUNDE AYENI (FMHR)
