𝙽𝙸𝚆𝙰 𝙱𝚘𝚜𝚜, 𝙾𝚢𝚎𝚋𝚊𝚖𝚒𝚓𝚒 𝙻𝚊𝚞𝚍𝚜 𝙿𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚒𝚍𝚎𝚗𝚝 𝚃𝚒𝚗𝚞𝚋𝚞, 𝙾𝚢𝚎𝚝𝚘𝚕𝚊 𝙾𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝙾𝚖𝚒𝚍𝚒𝚛𝚊𝚗, 𝙴𝚕𝚞𝚢𝚎𝚖𝚒 𝙵𝙲𝙲 𝙰𝚙𝚙𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚜

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly called AMBO, has extolled President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola over the appointments of two Osun citizens - Hon. Ayo Hulayat Omidiran and Hon. Eludayo Eluyemi as the new Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission  and Federal Commissioner representing Osun in Federal Character Commission, FCC respectively.

Oyebamiji, in a statement personally signed, expoused Omidiran's rare virtues and unflinching support to the party, describing her appointment as a round peg in a round hole. 

Oyebamiji acknowledged the significant role played by the appointees before, during and after the 2023 general elections, saying their appointments are testaments to loyalty, hardwork and steadfastness. 

Omidiran, an Ikire-born politician, served as the Chairman, Osun State chapter of the South-West Agenda (SWAGA 23) during last presidential election while Eluyemi, an Ile-Ife politician played a crucial role in the same election. 

"I must sincerely appreciate His Excellency, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Commander -In Chief of the Armed Forces, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the appointments of our illustrious and industrious daughter and son. This is indeed a testament to faithfulness, unflinching support and reward for loyalty and resilience. 

"There's no doubting the fact that our leader and mentor, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola, immediate past Osun State Governor and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy has been very supportive to our party and its members as manifested in the plethora of successes recorded thus far. 

"To the appointees, I am confident that suitable hands have been chosen to run the affairs of the sensitive commission saddled with responsibility of promoting unity and fairness in governance by ensuring that all states and regions are adequately represented in federal appointments and resource allocation", Oyebamiji said.
