Oyetola mourns Bisi Odewumi
Former Osun State Governor and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, has mourned the demise of Hon. Bisi Odewumi, describing it as painful and shocking.
This is contained in a statement from the Minister's media office.
In the statement, Oyetola condoled the family of the deceased and hailed his contributions to the growth and development of progressives in Osun.
The late Odewumi, served in the Oyetola's administration in Osun State as the Board Chairman, Osun State School of Health Technology, Ilesa.
He similarly condoled with the family of the late Odewumi, saying that the loss of a loving husband and father always brings unimaginable pain to the family and creates a huge gap difficult to fill.
The minister was however quick to add that " I am sure that as a believer, the family will find solace in the fact that God gives and He takes life."
He further said: "The death of Hon. Bisi Odewumi is painful and a huge loss not only to his family but to Osun State. He was a brave, committed and an experienced politician who served Osun selflessly and passionately.
"On behalf of the APC family in Osun State, I extend my deepest condolences to the family of the late Hon. Bisi Odewumi. Alhough his death is devastating, I urge you to take solace in the legacies of selflessness he left behind."
Governor Oyetola prayed God to grant the soul of the departed patriot an eternal rest and give his bereaved family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
