Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, is gaining significant support for his 2026 governorship bid in Osun State under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Oyebamiji has received
endorsements from prominent APC members and groups, including the Oyetola Consultative Forum, which has pledged to mobilize support for his candidacy. The forum's convener, Hon. Olanike Omoworare, praised Oyebamiji's track record, describing him as a prudent and hardworking individual with the capacity to take Osun State to the promised land. 

Oyebamiji has vowed to tackle Osun's infrastructure deficit, stimulate economic growth, and develop the tourism sector if elected. He believes his experience as Managing Director of the Nigeria Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) and former Commissioner of Finance in Osun State positions him well for the role.

Leaders and members of the APC in various local governments, including Ife Federal Constituency, have thrown their weight behind Oyebamiji's candidacy. They praise his leadership qualities, integrity, and ability to re-engineer the state's economy.

The APC primaries, which will determine the party's flagbearer for the 2026 governorship election, are expected to take place soon. Oyebamiji's supporters are optimistic about his chances, citing his widespread support across the state.

 Oyebamiji's campaign is gaining momentum. His supporters believe he has the potential to lead the APC to victory in the 2026 governorship election.
