Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, is gaining significant support for his 2026 governorship bid in Osun State under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

endorsements from prominent APC members and groups, including the Oyetola Consultative Forum, which has pledged to mobilize support for his candidacy. The forum's convener, Hon. Olanike Omoworare, praised Oyebamiji's track record, describing him as a prudent and hardworking individual with the capacity to take Osun State to the promised land.
Oyebamiji has vowed to tackle Osun's infrastructure deficit, stimulate economic growth, and develop the tourism sector if elected. He believes his experience as Managing Director of the Nigeria Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) and former Commissioner of Finance in Osun State positions him well for the role.
