WELCOME ADDRESS BY BARRISTER HON.FEMI ONIGBOGI, AMBO MOVEMENT COORDINATOR, ILESA WEST LOCAL GOVERNMENT

All respected leaders of our great party here present,  distinguished guests, fellow coordinators and members of the AMBO Movement, ladies and gentlemen

It gives me immense joy, and indeed a deep sense of pride, to stand before you today ( 16th of October ,2025) to welcome the AMBO Movement Train, ably led by our visionary leader and illustrious son of Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, to Ilesa West Local Government.

Today’s gathering marks yet another significant moment in our collective political journey — a gathering that symbolizes unity, shared purpose, and a renewed determination to secure a brighter future for our people. It is more than a visit; it is a statement of conviction, a renewal of hope, and a clarion call for purposeful leadership that will uplift Osun State and transform the lives of its citizens.

Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, the name Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji stands for excellence, integrity, and vision. His track record in both the private sector and public administration has demonstrated time and again that he is a man of capacity, character, and courage — the kind of leader who does not just dream of progress, but works tirelessly to make it happen.

Here in Ilesa West, we have watched with admiration as Asiwaju AMBO continues to inspire a generation of young leaders with his humility, his commitment to good governance, and his unflinching dedication to the ideals of transparency, accountability, and service to humanity. These qualities are rare, and they are precisely what Osun State needs at this critical juncture in its history.

Asiwaju, your presence here today rekindles our faith in the promise of a better tomorrow. You represent the kind of leadership that unites rather than divides — leadership that listens, understands, and delivers. You embody the spirit of progress that our people yearn for — a spirit that transforms challenges into opportunities and vision into reality.

I stand here today, speaking not just as a AMBO movement ,Ilesa West coordinator, but as a proud son of Ilesa West, representing a people who are enlightened, industrious, and politically conscious. Our people recognize leadership when they see it, and they reward sincerity when it is shown. That is why, on behalf of every ward, every community, every youth group, every woman, and every elder in Ilesa West, I say with pride and conviction: we are solidly behind Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji.

We are ready to work, to mobilize, and to deliver. We are ready to ensure that the AMBO Movement triumphs — not for personal gain, but for the collective progress of our dear Osun State. We will leave no stone unturned, no door unopened, and no heart untouched in spreading the gospel of the AMBO vision across every street, every village, and every polling unit in Ilesa West.

Asiwaju, we thank you for your courage, your sacrifice, and your commitment to the people. Be assured that Ilesa West is your home, and the good people of this local government are your dependable partners in this noble mission.

Let me also appreciate all the leaders and members of the AMBO Movement who have continued to demonstrate discipline, loyalty, and perseverance in the face of challenges. Your commitment is the foundation upon which this great movement stands. Together, we shall make history.

Once again, on behalf of the entire leadership and people of Ilesa West Local Government, I say a big welcome to you and your team. May your journey across Osun State continue to ignite the flames of hope, unity, and development in every heart and every community.
