Ayonic Commiserates With People of Igbajo, Osun APC Family on the Painful Loss of Oba Adegboyega Famodun

A foremost progressive and influential APC chieftain in Osogbo Local Government, Ayodeji Abdulahi Olaiya who is the Chief Executive Officer of Ayonic Oil and Gas, has expressed profound grief over the passing of Oba Adegboyega Famodun, the Owa of Igbajo and immediate past Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State.

Ayonic described the late monarch as “one of the strongest pillars of the progressive family, a rare political guardian, and a royal father whose wisdom, loyalty, and courage shaped the direction of the APC in Osun for many years.”

According to him, Oba Famodun was not just a traditional ruler, he was “a political institution, a voice of reason, and a rallying point whose leadership steadied the party through storms and transitions.”

He noted that the vacuum left behind by the monarch’s death is immeasurable, stressing that the Owa’s contributions to party unity, grassroots mobilisation, and strategic political engagements remain indelible in the annals of Osun’s progressive politics.

Ayonic lamented that Igbajo has lost a father, Osun APC has lost a compass, and the progressive family has lost a dependable backbone at a time when his experience and stabilising influence were most needed.

He extended heartfelt condolences to the royal family, the Igbajo community, and the entire Osun APC fold, praying that God grants them the fortitude to bear the devastating loss, while granting the revered monarch eternal rest.
