You're a blessing to mankind, Oyebamiji extols Oluwo's peaceful reign @10

A leading gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly called AMBO, has eulogized revered traditional ruler, Oluwo of Iwo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Adewale Akanbi Telu I, on the occasion of his 10th year coronation anniversary.

Oyebamiji felicitated the foremost monarch for bringing to bear his connections, wealth of experience, expertise and innovation and native intelligence to advance the cause of his subjects and the ancient town.

AMBO, who is the immediate past  Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA, in a congratulatory message, acknowledged the massive developments and rapid pace of transformation witnessed by the ancient town under the reign of Oba Akanbi. 

Oyebamiji also acknowledged the monumental feats recorded by the revered monarch, saying his compassionate and genuine commitment to his subjects and the town is second to none. 

He expressed satisfaction in the leadership qualities of Oluwo, describing him as "a shining light, epitome of royalty, Yoruba culture and African heritage whose reign has redefined the stool for cultural renaissance and socioeconomic development of Iwo land."

Oyebamiji thanked the traditional ruler for prioritizing and ensuring continued reign of peace, unity, harmony, stability and steady developments that the town has witnessed during his reign. 

"Celebrating our revered Kabiyesi, His Imperial Majesty Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Adewale Akanbi on an auspicious occasion of his 10th year coronation anniversary is to celebrate royalty, sterling performance and monumental strides. Baba has not only brought the much desired innovation to the revered stool of Oluwo but also used his God given wisdom to reposition and transform the lives of his subjects in particular and the ancient town in general. 

"Within a decade, Kabiyesi's indellible imprints and legacies of peace, unity, harmony, stability, cohesion, prosperity and tranquility can not be overemphasized. We are very proud of Kabiyesi's successes in the last ten years. We are equally proud to identify with and celebrate our father for witnessing this occasion of his 10 years coronation anniversary. The celebration is indeed a testament to Kabiyesi's love and passion for his subjects and Iwo. 

"Kabiyesi, as you mark a cornerstone on the throne of your forebears, on behalf of my family and the entire AMBO Movement, I pray Almighty Allah continue to imbue you more divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding to serve Him, your subjects and mankind as you take Iwo to enviable heights ever known in history.  May you celebrate more prosperous years on the throne, in sound health, unending joy and happiness. Congratulations, Kabiyesi!",  Oyebamiji prayed.
