HON.LAWRENCE BABATUNDE AYENI CELEBRATES AMBO’S VICTORY AT POWERHOUSE CATHEDRAL CHURCH ILESA

Honourable Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni, FMHR, on Sunday led a thanksgiving service at Power House Cathedral Church, off Ijebu Road, Ilesa, Osun State, to celebrate the victory of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), FMHR, at the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial primaries.
The thanksgiving service was held in appreciation to God for the successful emergence of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji as the party’s flagbearer and for the peaceful and hitch-free conduct of the primaries held in Osogbo.

Members of the APC who accompanied Hon. Ayeni to the church include Hon. Leader Adegboyega Ajeleti, Barr.Femi Onigbogi Coordinator AMBO Movement Ilesa West, Hon.Risikat Oladele Coordinator AMBO Movement Ilesa West Central LCDA, Hon.Olori Olusola   Agbadaoje Chairperson APC Ilesa West LG, Hon.Taiwo Ogunmokun, Hon.Dapo Ajewole, Hon.Bola Falade, Hon Olowe Williams Rotimi, Hon.Banjo Oyewunmi, Hon.Olabode Segun JP (Chairman, Ilesa West Local Government), among others.

In his thanksgiving address, Hon. L B Ayeni expressed profound gratitude to God for the success of the APC gubernatorial primaries and for granting journey mercies to party members who travelled from various local governments across the state to participate in the exercise.

He acknowledged that the journey to victory was challenging, but emphasized that God intervened at the appropriate time to ensure success. According to him, the thanksgiving service was not only to appreciate God for the successful primaries but also to commit the forthcoming 2026 gubernatorial election into God’s hands for a resounding victory.

Hon.L B Ayeni reaffirmed his confidence in Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, promising to return to the altar of thanksgiving after the party’s victory at the governorship polls. He also appreciated party members and supporters for their unwavering support and commitment throughout the process.

He assured the people of Osun State that the emergence of AMBO and  his becoming the governor of the date next year would usher in a new era of quality governance, noting that the state stands to witness the best of leadership under his administration.
