Oyebamiji mourns ex-cabinet member, Olatoke Olaniyan, Condoles Family, Aragbiji
Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji ( AMBO) has expressed griefs over the death of the former cabinet member, late Engr Olatoke Hussein Olaniyan.
Olaniyan, who served as the Special Adviser on Works and Transport to erstwhile Governor Adegboyega Oyetola CON now Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, breathed his last in the early hours of Saturday at the aged of 71.
Oyebamiji, in a condolence statement personally signed, condoled immediate family of the deceased, the revered traditional ruler, Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi as well as the indigenes of Iragbiji on the exit of a renowned engineer.
He described late Olaniyan as a thoroughbred professional cum politician whose impactful legacies in his chosen field can never be forgotten.
"On behalf of my family, I heartily commiserate with the family of late Olatoke Bisi Olaniyan who passed away in the early hours on Saturday. Late Olaniyan was known for discipline, faithfulness, honesty, competence and charisma, the rare virtues that distinguished him and stood him firm throughout his lifetime. As a civil engineer of repute, his professional expertise has been the source of inspiration to young and old particularly in the construction profession.
" Engr Olaniyan served diligently and meritoriously under the leadership of our principal, Dr. Adegboyega Oyetola CON and his trackrecords in private and public sectors are clear testimonies to what he stood for.
"As he returned to the ultimate Creator, I pray Almighty God accept his return and place him among the pious as I beseech Him to strengthen the bereaved family and grant them fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss", Oyebamiji mourned.
