Oyebamiji mourns Osogbo-born politician, Fatai Diekola, condoles family, political associates

The gubernatorial candidate of the Nigeria's ruling party - All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly called AMBO, has mourned the death of Osogbo-born astute politician, Alhaji Fatai Diekola.

Oyebamiji expressed sadness over the death of the seasoned political juggernaut, saying his death is a blow to the Osun  political cosmogony. 

He condoled the immediate family, Olaniyan ruling house of Osogbo, Osun indigenes as well as the deceased's friends and political associates on the unfortunate incident. 

Oyebamiji described the demise of the former Osogbo Local Government Chairman as a collosal loss to Osun political space, recalling the efforts and immense contributions of the deceased to the advancement of the state through his communal politics.  

"No doubt, late Prince Fatai Diekola was a bridge builder and unifier whose impacts in building a virile, viable, potent and formidable political structure in Osun can not be trivialized. As a community leader, council chairman and frontline political leader, his indelible imprints have been source of inspiration to young and old. 

"I pray Almighty Allah to grant him Aljana Fridaos, comfort his home and grant them the fortitude to bear the huge loss," Oyebamiji prayed
