Osun 2026: "We’ll Vote Massively for Oyebamiji," Okada Riders, Tricycle Operators Endorse APC Guber Candidate… Adding Value to Citizens’ Lives My Watchword – Oyebamiji

The gubernatorial aspiration of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), gathered momentum on Saturday as motorcycle (Okada) riders and tricycle (Maruwa) operators in the state unanimously pledged their allegiance to work rigorously and vote massively for the emergence of Oyebamiji in the August 8, 2026 gubernatorial election.

The amalgamated unions comprising Okada riders and tricycle operators also threw their weight behind Oyebamiji’s candidature, describing him as “a tested and trusted politician” whose impeccable imprints in both the private and public sectors set him apart.
This is just as Oyebamiji reaffirmed his commitment to champion the welfare and well-being of the citizenry if elected Governor, saying, “My pact with citizens is to bring prosperity to all by adding value to livelihoods.”

Speaking at a special meeting held at the Ileri-Oluwa Campaign Office, Osogbo, the General State Chairman of Okada riders and tricycle operators, Comrade Ismaila Tiamiyu, said members of the seven unions under his watch had resolved to do all within their power to ensure Oyebamiji’s victory come August 8 this year.

Comrade Tiamiyu, who lamented the maltreatment experienced under the current government of Governor Ademola Adeleke, said: “We have decided to follow a man of integrity and compassion as found in AMBO, and there is no turning back in ensuring his success in the next guber poll.”

In his words: “We have unanimously decided to double our efforts by joining the campaign train of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) for Governor. We have sensitised ourselves across the state and agreed to mobilise our respective family members to campaign and vote for Oyebamiji.

“While wishing you a victorious outing at the forthcoming election and smooth running into the Bola Ige House, we assure you of our total support and, with the full backing of our members, you are no more AMBO — you are ATIDE.”
