Owa Obokun Adimula and Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, Owa Clement Adesuyi Haastrup Ajimoko 111, made an historic visit to Osemawe of Ondo, Oba Dr Adesimbo Kiladejo.

Owa's Historic Visit to Osemawe

History was again made today as Owa Obokun Adimula and Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, Owa Clement Adesuyi Haastrup made an historic visit to Osemawe and Paramount Ruler of Ondo, Oba Dr Adesimbo Kiladejo. 
The two paramount rulers noted historic similarities between the two kingdoms and pledged to strengthen the bonds of unity. 
It is worth mentioning that some of the two kingdoms' streets and chieftaincy titles share similarities.
Owa Clement Adesuyi Haastrup flagged by Olori Victoria Haastrup observed that the Ijesas have maintained a harmonious relationship with the Ondo people, emphasizing that his tenure will not deviate from this norm.
The paramount ruler conveyed gratitude to the Osemawe for accepting Ijesa's invitation to attend his coronation in April last year.
In his welcome address, the Osemawe, Oba Dr. Kiladejo reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to safeguarding the interests of both kingdoms, with a view to fostering unity.
The paramount ruler of Ondoland offered prayers for a long and peaceful reign for the Owa Obokun of Ijesaland.
Meanwhile, the Owa Obokun seized the opportunity to visit the Awosika Museum and Hall of Fame.
The childhood friend of the Owa Obokun Professor Larry Awosika conducted Owa Clement round the facility which is in honor of Awosika whose lineage is traced to the first Loro of Ilesa.
On the entourage of the Owa Obokun are , Obaala of Ilesa, Ogboni of Ipole, Alademure of Ibokun, Olumelu of Imelu, Salotun of Ilesa, Loosare of Isare, Likoti of Ikoti, Risa of Ijamo and Baatisin of Itinsin as well as Chief Mrs Dupe Ajayi Gbadebo.
