Adeleke’s Chief of Staff, Kazeem Akinleye, Regains Freedom After Meeting EFCC Bail Conditions
The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, has reportedly been released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after fulfilling the conditions attached to his administrative bail.
Sources close to the development disclosed that Alhaji Akinleye returned to his hometown of Ede a short while ago following his release by the anti-graft agency.
According to informed sources, the Chief of Staff allegedly made useful disclosures to EFCC investigators regarding alleged corruption and financial irregularities within the present administration in Osun State during his interrogation.
The sources further revealed that Alhaji Akinleye has undertaken to cooperate fully with the EFCC and is expected to return on a later date for further questioning as investigations continue.
