Hon.Abayomi Ojo Emerges Consensus Candidate for Ilesa West State Constituency

A legal practitioner, Abayomi Ojo, has emerged as the consensus candidate for Ilesa West State Constituency ahead of the 2027 Osun State House of Assembly election.

‎The decision was reached at a stakeholders’ meeting held at the residence of party leader, Gboyega Ajeleti, in Ilesa, marking what leaders described as the first time all stakeholders in the constituency have unanimously agreed on a single candidate.
‎Following the meeting, a communiqué detailing the outcome was submitted to leaders of the Ijesa South Federal Constituency for further ratification.

‎Sources at the meeting disclosed that other aspirants who had earlier shown interest in the race included Barr. Femi Onigbogi, Hon.Bolanle Olomola, Hon.Dele Ilori, and Hon.Nurudeen Giwa.

‎Party leaders said the consensus decision reflects unity and a shared commitment to strengthen the party’s chances in the forthcoming election.
