May Day: Oyebamiji Celebrates Osun Workers...Says 'Scaling Up Your Welfare From Cosmetic Approach To Genuine Well-being Non-negotiable'... Millionaires 'II Be Legitimately Made From Workforce When Elected Governor

The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji popularly called AMBO has felicitated workers in the state on the occasion of the 2026 Workers' Day. 

Oyebamiji lauded all categories of workers in Osun including civil servants at the state and local governments, teachers, health workers, artisans, professionals, entrepreneurs, traders, market men and women, transporters among others for their diligence, patriotism, hardwork, dedication, resilience, high sense of professnalism and invaluable contributions to the growth and development of the state since its creation in 1991.

He assured the state workforce of his avowed commitment and dedication to run an all inclusive, participatory and people-oriented government that will be driven by workforce who are the powerhouse and pillars of governance. He said that it is time to make millionaires out of civil servants through legitimate means of improved welfare packages across boards. 
AMBO, in a congratulatory statement, personally signed and made available to journalists in Osogbo on Friday described workers as lifewire and engine room of the government , pledging to  advance and scale up their welfare and take them out of the current 'cosmetic approach by guaranteeing real and genuine well-being for all and sundry when elected Governor."

He acknowledged the sacrifices made by all categories of workers across sectors assuring that no segment of the state workforce will be left out in the implementation of his lofty politicies and programmes designed to build a new Osun of her founding fathers' dream when elected Governor. 

"I warmly celebrate our highly revered workers in Osun on the occasion of this year's Workers' Day. It is indeed a moment of reflection and renewal of our collective hope in building a state that we will be all proud of. I must acknowledge your invaluable contributions and avowed commitment to excellence, progress, growth and development as manifested in your dedication, diligence, patriotism, selflessness and sacrifices to our dear state and her people. It is on record that your commitment and loyalty to service all along had been the driving force to the sustainability of our dear state, hence, our resolve to guarantee a desirous welfare packages for all when elected Governor. 

"We shall do everything within our power to run an all inclusive, participatory and people-oriented government that will prioritise your welfare and general well-being. No worker will suffer under our watch as we are irrevocably committed to unleashing people-focused and masses-driven developmental policies and programmes that will redefine civil service and positively impact lives of workers and as well as take Osun to enviable heights ever known in history. 

"As a financial expert, salary and pension payments and improved welfare packages for the workforce are non negotiable, hence, our avowed commitment to scale up workers' welfarism from cosmetic approach being experienced currently to a more desirous general well-being under my watch when elected Governor. In view of the buoyancy of our accrued revenues to Osun monthly at the moment, we shall create safe and conducive work environments for all to thrive in order to enhance productivity and well-being of workforce. By our concerted efforts, we will make millionaires in a genuine amd legitimate means out of civil servants through our well designed welfare packages for all categories of workers in the state when elected Governor", Oyebamiji said.
